Hello OSC Families,
The 2025 Swim Alberta Winter Provincial Championships will be taking place March 20th-24th, 2025 at the Kinsmen Sports Centre (Edmonton, AB). This is qualifying swim meet for swimmers who have achieved the 2024-2025 Provincial Championship Time Standards. Swimmers may also qualify for this meet by winning an event at the Swim Alberta Winter Provincial Trials (March 7-9th, Calgary, AB) or achieving the time standard at Neil Lepps (March 15 & 16, Edmonton, AB). Swimmers who qualify through the latter two options will have be able to declare after the meet deadline.
Declaration for Provincial Championships are open now until February 28th, 2025 at 11:59pm. As mentioned earlier, any swimmers who qualify for Champs after the declaration deadline will still be able to declare up until Monday March 17th, 2025.
Provincial Championships is a 4-day Heats & Finals swim meet. Swimmers will be expected to do relays at this meet as OSC representatives on the Provincial Stage to try and score points for the team.
