Hello HP+P+AGP families,
The Summer Provincials (LC) is a 4-day heats and finals meet at the MNP Community & Sport Centre (Calgary, AB) from July 28th-31th, 2022. Please Declare your attendance by July 12th, 2022 at 11:59pm. Please note that this is a championship meet with strict entry standards, so please only declare if you are qualified for the event. Details below:
Females 14 & Under and Males 15 & Under
Swimmers who rank in the top 20 in any event, 50m – 400m, will be considered qualified for the competition based on Swim Alberta’s published short course rankings (September 1 to March 31) or long course rankings (September 1 to June 15) using the competition age groups and age-up date.
Swimmers may also qualify after June 15 by posting a long course time faster than the 20th ranked long course time. Only events with 20 rankings are eligible for qualification after June 15th.
Females 15 & Over and Males 16 & Over
Swimmers who achieve at least one Provincial Trials or Provincial Championships time standard since March 1st 2021 are qualified for the event.
We will follow up with these lists over the next week so swimmers know their qualification status, or can target qualification in specific events. Talk to your coach if you have any questions!
If you are only interested in attending certain days of the swim meet (for example, “Saturday only”), PLEASE declare what days you will be attending in the Registration Notes. If there are no notes in the declaration, your swimmer will be assumed to be attending every day of the event.
