OSC Representation 2024-2025
During the 2024-2025 swim season (so far), we have had four OSC swimmers earn exciting opportunities based off of their hard work and skill. Please see the attached picture celebrating Marlow Rose-Toth, Kobyn Kirchner, Gillian Archer and Aiden Gyorfi and more information regarding their opportunities below!

Marlow Rose-Toth (National) – Marlow has been selected to participate in the Swim Alberta Distance Camp #1 in Calgary, AB from November 15th to 17th, 2024. This camp is made up of 10 female and 10 male swimmers from across the province. During the camp, swimmers will be focusing on developing technique for longer races, mental skills and working on activation and dryland. Way to go Marlow, and we hope you have a great experience!

Kobyn Kirchner (Regional) – Kobyn was selected to participate in the 2024 Para Prospects West Camp in Penticton, BC from October 16th to 20th, 2024. This camp was intended for para swimmers from across Western Canada (BC, AB, SK & MB) to come together to work on technical development and to compete at the 2024 Grizzly Excavating LTD. Triple Pentathlon. Coach Ehsan Shafaiyanfard attended the camp and competition to expand his knowledge of para swimming and to share his new knowledge with other OSC coaches. Speaking with Kobyn after the camp, he said he had a lot of fun and it was a very good experience!

Gillian Archer (National) – Gillian was selected for the 2024 Pan Provincial Open Water Camp & Competition taking place in Bridgetown, Barbados from November 3rd through 11th, 2024. Gill was one of fifteen swimmers selected for this outstanding opportunity! Leading up to the Barbados Open Water Festivals competition, the team will be training a total of 4 hours a day (2 hours in pool and 2 hours open water in the ocean). Good luck Gillian, have fun & race hard!

Aiden Gyorfi (National) – Aiden was selected for the 2024 Swim Alberta Aspire Camp. Eight top swimmers from across the province were selected for this awesome opportunity to train and race in Denver, Colorado from October 31st to November 3rd, 2024. OSC Head Coach Lesley Serediak will be acting as one of the Team Coaches and OSC General Manager Shane Downey will be acting as the Team Manager. Good luck Aiden and LET’S GO O!!!
