On Sunday December 1st, 2024 OSC hosted our first 12&Under swim meet of the season at the Kinsmen Sports Centre. In total 292 swimmers competed from the Olympian Swim Club, Keyano Swim Club, Edson Orcas, Lac La Biche Whitecaps, St. Paul Barracudas Swim Club, Steadward Bears Para Swim Team, Strathcona Country Swim Club and the Triton Swim Club. 

The meet was filled with lots of great racing including 244 best times and 25 top 3 finishes consisting of 9 first place, 8 second place, and 8 third place finishes! Way to go swimmers!

We would also like to send a special shout out to OSC UofA OW swimmer Joshua Yeung (12) on achieving his first Festival Time standard in the boys 200-meter breaststroke with a time of 3:29.49! Great swim Joshua!

Our OSC swimmers did a fantastic job of bringing the team spirit and supporting one another during the swim meet.
