Meet Report | 2022 OSC Last Chance Qualifier

March 6, 2022

Here’s the Meet Report for the OSC Last Chance Qualifier on March 6th, 2022:

Team Goals

The Team Goals for this meet were to cheer on their teammates who were trying to make their new qualifying times, and race well in the morning environment. Last Chance meets are always a great opportunity for swimmers that are looking to qualify for meets like Provincial Trials or Champs to get one last try at them, and for those swimmers that are already qualified to rehearse their morning swims at the big meet.  Great job to all of our OSC swimmers!

Swimmer Stats

The club brought 32 swimmers to this event. We had 24 personal bests, and 22 podium places. The swimmer with the largest improvement was Tucker Buhler, with an improvement of 1 minute and 44.96 seconds in the 800 Free, going from 11:30.30 to 9:45.34. This also got Tucker his second Champs time (beating the standard of 9:49.40), and punched his ticket to the Champs in Edmonton in two weeks. Congratulations Tucker!
