The Olympian Swim Club is a Canadian competitive swim club that has been serving the City of Edmonton and surrounding communities since 1974. OSC is a professionally run club that focuses on teaching and developing swimmers’ abilities to reach their fullest potential. We offer a variety of pre-competitive, non- competitive and competitive programs ranging from our grassroots Mini O's all the way up to our elite National group. OSC has a rich history of swimming excellence resulting in outstanding performances at Provincial, National and International competitions. The OSC Rookie Camp is intended for swimmers who are new to OSC who want to come try swimming with the club and receive a group assessment for both Mini O’s and our competitive programming. For swimmers to be able to participate in Rookie Camp, they must be 5 years of age or older, comfortable in deep water and able to swim at least 15 meters unassisted. Where?: The Kinsmen Sports Centre – 9100 Walterdale Hill, Edmonton, AB T6E 2V3
When?: Tuesday September 2nd, 2025
Times?: 4:00pm to 5:00pm, 5:00pm to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 7:00pm (please select one time frame).
What to bring?: Bathing suit, goggles, cap (optional), towel, water bottle, bag to put your belongings in, a positive attitude and ready to have fun!
Please note that every time block will consist of the first 15 minutes to be used for check in, stretching and activation followed by a 45 minute swim. We will have plenty of OSC staff available during the OSC Rookie Camp, so please feel free to come speak with us following your swimmers selected time.

We are very excited to be able to offer our annual OSC Summer Camps once again this year! We have 4 weeks of camps lined up at the Kinsmen Sports Centre (Week 1 - August 4th to 8th, Week 2 - August 11th to 15th, Week 3 - August 18th to 22nd and Week 4 - August 25th to 29th). Each week will include in water sessions and fun dryland!
Every camp will consist of 5 days (Monday through Friday) starting at 1:00pm and ending at 6:00pm. OSC Summer Camps are great for swimmers ages 5 to 13 who are comfortable in water on their own and can swim unassisted (no floatation devices). We are able to accommodate a wide range of abilities.
As in previous years, we will divide each camp into two groups (Mini O Levels & Competitive Levels) depending on the swimmers’ current skills set/existing OSC group placement. For more information on OSC Summer Camps 2025 please click below and we hope to see you in August!
